HI,

I am the owner of a small publishing house based in Tahiti.
www.editions-mers-australes.com
And we plane to make interactive book for childrens for computer and tablets.
I use Opus since a few years to make CD ROM.
There is an old thread about interactive publication (2005).
And I would like to know if, in 2013, it's possible to make interactive ebook with Opus.
Many thanks

Guy wallart

Hi Guy,

I think if you are looking to replicate some of the more realistic page turning books that can be seen on the internet - then I'm not sure you'll achieve this. However, Opus does have various page transition effects and the whole interactive functionality is outstanding and could be used to bring the pages of the book alive.

I would add, that Opus HTML5 is in development at the moment and you may need that if your going down the route of tablets as Flash may no longer work on some devices.

Hope that helps.

Mack

P.S I like the characters on the site.
